Our made in france printer

At Polysity, we develop a silicone 3D printer entirely designed and manufactured in France. From mechanical architecture to software development, every component of our technology is designed and built in-house to deliver an innovative and high-performance solution tailored to the evolving challenges of silicone object manufacturing through 3D printing.

Rooted in a strong local and academic ecosystem, the Polysity project brings together researcher-professors from the LIRMM as well as engineers trained at the University of Montpellier. This close connection with the academic and scientific world enables us to integrate the latest advances in robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced materials directly into our technology.

This collaboration between research, teaching, and engineering combines scientific expertise and French know-how to develop next-generation industrial technologies addressing the needs of demanding sectors such as healthcare, soft robotics, and advanced manufacturing.

Print with your choice

Our machine is capable of processing a wide range of silicones, from Shore 00-20 to Shore A-50. There is no need for a specific formulation: we can print any silicone, from extra-soft to flexible materials.

Shore 00-20

The Shore 00-20 grade corresponds to extra-soft silicones with a gel-like behavior, ideal for applications requiring extremely high flexibility.

Shore A-50

The Shore A-50 grade corresponds to soft silicones with a flexible rubber-like behavior, suitable for applications requiring both elasticity and durability.

AI-assisted design and simulation

At Polysity, hardware and software development progress in parallel from the very beginning, evolving in a synchronized way to build a coherent and optimized technology. Our software enables the simulation of parts within a realistic physical environment, including gravity, pressure, and contact forces.

Artificial intelligence is not used to simulate, but to iterate. It analyzes simulation results, automatically adjusts design parameters, and runs new simulation cycles in order to progressively optimize the part to meet the required specifications. This continuous feedback loop accelerates the design process and improves the performance of the developed structures.
